group photo of MoRitS taken in July 2013, with PhD students, supervising professors and managing directorThe “Model-based Realization of intelligent Systems in Nano- und Biotechnologies (MoRitS)” research cooperation receives 1.8 M € in funding from the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Research of the German State of North Rhine-Westphalia (MIWF NRW) through the programme External link „NRW.Forschungskooperationen Universität & Fachhochschule”. MoRitS is a joint initiative involving the Faculty of Engineering and Mathematics at the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences and the three Faculties of Physics, Biology and Technology at the Bielefeld University. Based on their long-standing joint research activities and their excellent research background, they offer qualified graduates from both types of universities advanced scientific training in the context of nano- and biotechnological systems, an area of great economic and technological potential.
